Landing page essentials — one page, one goal
A great landing page is not a shrunken website. It is a single conversation with a single ask.
Landing pages exist for one reason: to convert a specific visitor for a specific offer. Every element on the page either helps that goal or gets deleted.
Anatomy of a page that converts
- Headline — the promise, in the visitor's own words.
- Sub-headline — one sentence that expands the promise.
- Hero visual — product, service in action, or founder's face. Never generic stock.
- Primary CTA — one action, repeated down the page.
- Proof — testimonials, logos, numbers, case studies.
- Objection handling — a short FAQ that removes the last doubts.
- Final CTA — the same ask, one more time.
Common mistakes
- Adding a full navigation menu — it just gives visitors escape routes.
- Multiple competing offers on the same page.
- No phone-first design (most ad traffic is mobile).
- No tracking, so you never learn what works.
Landing page creation is part of my services. I build in whatever tool fits the campaign and your team — dedicated landing page platforms like Unbounce, Instapage, Leadpages, ConvertFlow, Landingi and Carrd; design-led builders like Framer and Webflow; Shopify page builders like PageFly, Shogun, GemPages and Zipify; or fully custom code when you need maximum speed and tracking control. Feel free to get in touch with your campaign details.
